Job Opening - Superintendent

Position Status: Full Time

Employee Classification:

Supervise & Self- Perform

Regular Work Hours: 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Accountable to: Project Manager & Operations

Accountable for: Subcontractors, Carpenters & Laborers

Overview of Responsibilities:

Managing, scheduling and coordination of subcontractors and suppliers.

Prepare overall job schedules and 3 week look ahead schedules and be able to meet or exceed those

schedules.

Actively seek new ways to improve efficiency and streamline processes.

Produce work in the time frames set forth by owners and project managers.

Use diplomacy and tact when dealing with owners, architects and engineers.

Solve challenges and onsite issues with help from design team.

Complete carpentry and self-perform work when needed.

Follow all local, state and OSHA safety rules and regulations mandated.

Follow all procedures set forth by HCI handbook.

Able to communicate with owners and architects.

Skills: Good written and verbal communication skills; proficient in reading and understanding drawings and

specifications; proven past experience; supervising & leadership skills; good computer skills

Characteristics: Neat; thorough; reliable; dedicated; accurate; organized; self-motivated/driven person; problem

solver; decision-maker; and good communicator.
