Floral Designer Level II

$14.00 - $18.69 PER HOUR GENERAL PURPOSE: The purpose of this position is to design extraordinary floral arrangements for Harmons’ customers.  This person will be designing floral arrangements, assisting customers with placing orders, keeping the floral design area clean and organized and providing exceptional customer service. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: ·         Follows established departmental and store policies and procedures ·         Ensures the quality and freshness of all floral arrangements prepared at the Floral Design Center ·         Responsible for maintaining the appropriate product assortment and inventory levels for the Floral Design Center ·         Assists customers with placing orders online and over the telephone ·         Prepares floral arrangements according to Harmons “recipes” or to fit a custom order for customers ·         Responsible for cleaning, sweeping, removing trash from, and organizing floral design area ·         Assists with cleaning the rest of the Distribution Center as needed ·         Delivers excellent customer service to all customers ·         Completes assigned tasks efficiently and in a timely manner ·         Sets a professional and positive example to others ·         Assists as needed to ensure the success of the Distribution Center as a whole MARGINIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: ·         Performs other job-related duties as assigned NATURE OF WORK CONTACTS: ·         Consistent and daily interaction with store associates ·         Consistent and daily interaction with customers TRAINING & QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.  Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
