What are the responsibilities and job description for the Caregiver position at Harmony House?
Harmony House is looking for a compassionate, energetic individual to care for three elderly residents in a home setting. We are currently hiring for day shift 8a-8p, nightshift 8p-8a. 3 days a week/ every other weekend required. No Certifications needed! On the job training!
Daily duties and Responsibilities:
-MUST be able to work independently,read communication logs and follow instructions
-Upholding a positive environment for both residents and staff
-Provides basic nursing and personal care assistance to residents
-Documenting daily occurrences
-Medication pass and documentation
-light housekeeping and meal preparation
-Communicating urgent needs of the residents to management
Qualifications:
-The ideal candidate will have the ability to multitask as well as utilize good time management skills
-You must be able to pass a Virginia State background check
-you must be able to provide two reference
-you must have a valid drivers liscense and reliable transportation
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.50 - $20.00 per hour
