Responsibilities
The IT Project Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the technology infrastructure, operating responsibilities and resources of the organization. The position involves working with other departments to ensure technology is supporting their respective needs, providing technical support to staff, and managing technology projects.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Collaborate with other departments to identify technology needs and solutions
- Provide project coordination to support the organization’s technology resources, including hardware, software, security and network infrastructure
- Coordinate technology projects from inception to completion, including planning, budgeting and monitoring progress
- Maintain project plans and prepare department of project presentations
- Coordinate with product leaders, project managers and analyst across the organization to achieve project outcomes
- Research and recommend new technologies to enhance organization efficiency and productivity
- Maintain accurate records of technology inventory, contracts and licenses
- Advising on suitable IT choices and keeping up with new technology projects
- Coordinating with other departments to ensure technology is supporting their needs
- Producing and interpreting technical diagrams, plans and paperwork
- Creating delivery schedules and coordinating technology projects
- Documenting customer interactions, issues and resolutions in ticketing system
- Ensuring that all processes and procedures are followed according to company standards
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Required Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- Associates Degree in a related field (Computer Science, Information Technology) or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a technology or project coordination role
- Strong technical skills, including proficiency in network infrastructure, hardware and software troubleshooting and project management
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively with staff at all levels of the organization
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Experience using SmartSheet
- Experience using Jira and Confluence
- Experience using ServiceDesk or similar ticketing system
- Occasional evening and weekend work to meet deadlines
- Sitting for extended periods of time
- Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse and to handle other computer component
- Physically able to participate in sessions, presentations and meetings
- Ability to travel up to 15% of the time
