They are seeking a Senior AI Security Engineer to provide technical leadership and drive innovation in the development of secure AI/ML solutions, with a specific focus on large language models (LLMs)

The Role
- Analyze AI use cases to recommend secure and trustworthy solutions to sponsors.
- Prototype AI and LLM-based tools to meet operational needs.
- Evaluate technology solutions in the context of mission data and workflows, providing actionable recommendations.
- Communicate complex ideas to non-technical audiences through briefings and white papers.
- Lead or significantly contribute to projects aimed at solving complex AI security problems for our sponsors.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; an advanced degree (Master's or PhD) is strongly preferred.
- Security clearance required (TS/SCI preferred; candidates must be able to obtain clearance if not currently held).
- Strong emphasis on thought leadership-publications and experience in an academic setting are highly valued.
- Proven experience with prototyping, LLMs, and building databases or data pipelines. Candidates should be comfortable and excited about creating solutions from scratch.
- Demonstrable experience with LLMs, particularly in innovative applications beyond typical chatbot implementations.
