Service Manager

About the Position:

The Service Manager position in our Fairbanks, Alaska branch is responsible for profitable and efficient operations for the Fairbanks Service Department annual sales and expenses.

• You will review workload and identify and address potential problems, work with customers on quotes to resolve billing conflicts, be responsible for customer and employee satisfaction and profitability.
• It will be your responsibility to ensure repairs and preps are complete, on time and on budget.
• You will need to have the ability to sell and market service machine rebuilds and flat rate sales.
• Must be people oriented and service driven.
• Must be safety conscious and follow the company safety policies.

Qualifications & Experience Needed:

• To be successful in this roll you need a valid driver's license, BA degree in business, minimum of 3-5 years industry experience in a dealer service department.
• Familiarity with all forms of shop tooling to the degree necessary to provide assistance to technicians as needed.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Must be able to communicate information and instructions to employees under your supervision.
• Develop and maintain good working relations between departments within the organization.
• Be able to develop and maintain superior customer satisfaction.
• Flexible to changes in a fast paced environment.
• Knowledge of DBS system is a plus along with the ability to work in a typical, physical work environment, and the ability to use Microsoft Office products.
• Be able to travel when required.

Experience

• Minimum 3-5 years industry experience in a dealer service department.
• Valid Driver's License

• Knowledge of DBS system

Education

• Bachelors or better in Business Administration
