What are the responsibilities and job description for the Office/Logistics Coordinator position at Harold White Lumber, Inc.?
- Trucking and freight logistics; along with export bookings and export documentation tracking containers.
- Working knowledge of QuickBooks and entering accounts payables and filing.
- Time Clocks and payroll responsibility.
- Ordering office and company supplies.
- Basic Accounting
- Basic computer skills and working knowledge of Excel is necessary
- Tracking international shipments and document releases and accounting for international inbound wire transfers.
- Answering and directing phone calls to appropriate persons.
- Prepare daily Bill of Ladings.
- Nice office atmosphere.
- Other office duties as necessary.
- There are occasions where nightly emails are necessary when there are trucking or railroad issues which require a prompt response that affect shipments.
- Excellent people skills, telephone skills, precision math, spelling, grammar and general office decorum is paramount.
- Work closely with CEO.
Hourly wage dependent upon experience. Some overtime may be expected. Simple IRA retirement after 1 year with 3% match. 3 Paid Holidays, 1 Week paid vacation, Yearend bonus. 50 year company. No health benefit.
