Job Description: Service Technician II
(600-Service Department)

Job Objectives:
- Provide field service leadership for each of the Harper product lines
- Ensure that the parts and service needs of our customers are met
- Create and maintain a positive relationship with our dealers and fellow employees
- Provide excellent customer service for all customers
Specific Duties:
- Troubleshoot technical problems over the phone email and chat for Harper products
- Process call-in orders for Harper Industries
- Assist in processing warranty claims for Harper products
- Create written service documentation for customers (example trouble shooting document, kit instructions, service bulletins)
- Communicate information to the proper personnel throughout the company
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Passion for good customer service
- Mechanical aptitude with mechanical experience
- Post- secondary education and/or appropriate experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Positive attitude
- Willingness to learn service software
- Required computer usage skills include Microsoft Word and Excel
- Possess the ability to work alone or as a team member
- Service technology background is preferred; agriculture experience is a plus
Travel:
- Travel as required to maintain the product line
- Travel may be for service, training, or problem solving
- May be heavier at certain times of the year, averaging five - six days a month
Schedule/Salary
§ 40 hour work week
§ Overtime with pre-approval by manager
Reports to:
§ VP of Product
Must be authorized to work in the U.S., Export Control: The position must meet Export Control
compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US
