Building Envelope Sales Representative

Harper Winn is an Independent Representative group specializing in building envelope product sales. We have an immediate opening for a business professional with exceptional motivation and initiative, to succeed in the sales of our products and services. This position will primarily focus on single-ply roofing and metal roofing/wall panels.

This sales position is designed for a motivated, polished individual with proven organizational and follow-up skills. Excellent interpersonal skills are a must. Experience with construction building materials (i.e. low slope roofing, metal roofing/siding, insulation) is preferred. This position will focus on the Oregon market exclusively.

In this position, you will be responsible for the following:

• Single Ply Roof Systems, Metal Roofing/Wall Panels- Specification, Application Methods and Design
• Calling on architects, consultants, building owners, and contractors to introduce our products, provide technical consultation.
• Resolving roofing/siding concerns and facilitating application methods to determine viable solutions
• Visiting project sites and assessing current project conditions
• Preparing and presenting information (AIA, demonstrations, contractor training, etc.)
• Conducting informational presentations via PowerPoint to groups and trade organizations
• Keeping abreast of competition by monitoring current marketplace information on products and pricing
• Maintaining company reporting and tracking opportunities and results
• Developing and implementing distribution strategy with our current partners

Travel will be required
