Project and Field Management work collectively and collaboratively with Owners, Design Professionals, Trade Partners, and Authorities Having Jurisdiction in order to build a successful, quality project on schedule in a safe work environment while earning a fair and reasonable profit.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assists Project and Field Management with Project Team execution
- Learns how to oversee and assist in proper project decisions
- Learns how to serves as a point of contact for the Owner, Engineer, and Architect at the job site
- Learns how to oversee and uphold Safety expectations and requirements
- Learns how to oversee the coordination of Trade Partners
- Cross trains with Project Team to ensure staff development
- Assists the Project Team with sequencing, scheduling, procurement, logistics, quality control, and staffing
- Communicates field issues with Project Team
- Leverages Project Management Software (Procore experience preferred)
- Manages routine tasks such as timesheets, daily reports, equipment maintenance, inspections, etc.
- Project Reporting and Documentation
- Understands and participates in QA/QC efforts
- Assists with Project Close-Out Procedures
QUALIFICATIONS
- 4-year college degree with job site experience as an intern, or working as a Field Engineer Level 2 with an Associate Degree
- Ability to develop relationships and build trust
- Proven track record of Safety
- Ability to communicate with Project Team Members, such as Trade Partners, Design Professionals, Utility Reps, Code Officials, etc.
- Understanding of Construction Plans, Project Specifications, and General Conditions
- Ability to understand construction means and methods for various scopes of work
- Participate in coordination meetings with Trade Partners, Owners, Design Professionals, etc.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Team player with a high level of professionalism and initiative
- Exceptional listening skills
- Detail-oriented
- Demonstrates flexibility and change often
- Resolving Conflicts
- Timely and accurate follow-through
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- Utilize BIM technologies
- OSHA 30 Certified
- Valid state-issued license, a satisfactory motor vehicle record, safe driving behavior, and adherence to our Driving Policy
PHYSICAL DEMAND
- Requires work in a variety of conditions relative to construction job site environments and must be able to perform the physical requirements of the job, as assigned.
- Weather and climate conditions will vary throughout the progress of a project. Must be able to inspect all ongoing construction activities over the duration of the assigned project.
- Requires walking over varied terrain, climbing, stooping, bending and lifting. Lifting requirements vary from minimal to heavy loads.
- Inspection for quality, consistency, and completeness of work frequently requires climbing ladders, stairs, and scaffolding.
