JOB SUMMARY :
Slot manager who implements approved company policy and manages the operation of the Slot machines and performance of Slot personnel when Director is not present.
Promotes positive customer relations. Other duties as assigned.
DIRECTLY SUPERVISES : Slot Attendant
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES :
Manages a total of 10 to 40 employees in the absence of the Slot Shift Manager. Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of this unit.
Carries out managerial responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees;
planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
QUALIFICATIONS :

SOCIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE :
Must have an outgoing, energetic, and enthusiastic attitude. Must be comfortable initiating conversations and creating a fun environment with our guests.
EDUCATION and / or EXPERIENCE :
Bachelor's degree (B. from four-year college or university; or three to four years of related experience and / or training;
LANGUAGE SKILLS :
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS :
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
REASONING ABILITY :
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS :
Must be able to obtain and maintain a license from the Indiana Gaming Commission.
