Job Description:

Analyze, revise, correct, or arrange the contents and style of technical or nontechnical work of high complexity of FBM/SWS documents for publication. Ensure documents conform to company and or government editorial standards, proper style, and format while maintaining the author’s intent. Coordinates all steps in the production process of the document or material within the various company functions. Interfaces with requester and acts as liaison between requester and Support Services groups. Ensures accuracy and completeness of writings.

Qualifications: 

Bachelor's Degree and minimum of 4 years of prior experience or 2 years post-Secondary/ Associates Degree and minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.  Graduate Degree and minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.

Preferred Additional Skills: 

  • Strong working knowledge of FBM/Trident SWS SSBN operations, including having Familiarity with SOP’s, OP’s, TIDB’s EWL and SWSMIN or AMIN, SSPINST and MIL-STD-38784A.
  • Working knowledge of Adobe PRO, MS Word, MS Excel, MS Project, and MS Power Point.
  • Experience in authoring using FrameMaker, SGML/XML/S1000D electronic documentation a plus.
  • Applicant must currently possess or be able to obtain a Secret Security Clearance.

Special Requirements: Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. US citizenship required for this position.
