The Director of IT Enterprise Infrastructure Services manages the day-to-day technology infrastructure operations, resources, communications, stakeholders, and technology governance. Under the supervision of the Chief Technology Officer, the director will work directly with other IT directors and managers over PMO, Application and Security to ensure alignment with leadership vision and strategy. The Director works closely with the business leadership team, influencing technical and architectural aspects of enterprise-wide technology infrastructure decisions. Additionally, this position is responsible for establishing the current and long-range direction of infrastructure services aimed at keeping the organization at the forefront of change. Generally, this may include the analysis of purchased systems, hardware, and licenses, or the internal design and development of hardware and software systems. The Director recommends budgets for the technology infrastructure division and makes decisions for the organization based on the highest degree of technical complexity and thorough understanding of the far-reaching implications across the IT organization.

Job Duties:
- Provide leadership and management of the Technology Infrastructure team in developing and executing an Infrastructure strategy and operations to scale effectively and efficiently.
- Responsible for managing technology infrastructure planning and development.
- Delivers secure, reliable, scalable IT infrastructure and services for data center, network, voice, databases, compute, storage, endpoints, infrastructure applications, and facilities project management.
- Manages strategic vendor and partner relationships.
- Provides technical advice, guidance, direction, and authorization to carry out major plans and procedures.
- Oversee development of enterprise standards and technology architecture, technology evaluation and transfer, and the IT governance process.
- The role collaborates with application, data and security domain architects and provides the necessary leadership, analysis, and design to ensure solutions meet business needs and align with architectural governance and standards.
- Coordinates the design, development, marketing, and maintenance of technology projects or product lines as relates to technology infrastructure.
- Analyzes new technologies and runs competitive analysis. Participates in and drives the technical aspects of strategic decisions regarding IT for the enterprise.
- Establishes strategic direction for critical infrastructure platforms and services setting strategic direction for operational improvement initiatives.
- Works with business partners and the development organization to help define document and implement processes as well as recommend process improvements.
- Oversees all aspects of delivery for architecture, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise-wide infrastructure and cybersecurity services.

Requirements
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) and Project Management Professional (PMP) required. Flexibility to obtain both within 6 years.
- Fifteen (15) years of IT and business/industry work experience including architecture design and deployment, systems lifecycle management and infrastructure planning and operations.
- Five (5) years of supervisory level experience in managing multiple, large cross-functional teams or projects, and influencing senior level management and key stakeholders.
- Knowledge of multiple, diverse technology infrastructure platforms, and processing environments including PaaS, SaaS, IaaS.
- Practical experience developing infrastructure services architecture, strategy, blueprints, road maps, policies, and standards.
- Ability to work with relevant internal application, infrastructure, network, and support teams to ensure that security controls are implemented at all significant and relevant phases of IT processes.
- Sound understanding of strategic and emerging technology trends, and the practical application of them to new and evolving business opportunities.
- Strong understanding of product management, agile principles, and development methodologies, and the capability provide guidance to agile teams on opportunities, impact, and risks, when considering technical and architectural debt.
- Understanding and knowledge of IT service management (ITSM) and Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL).
- Strong networking background with a thorough knowledge of network management tools, IPV4/V6, sub-netting, super-netting, and DNS
- Ability to represent the organization in internal assessments and audits, as well as to respond to external assessments and audits.
- Knowledge of common information technology management frameworks such as NIST 800-53, CIS, ISO/IEC 27001, ITIL
- Knowledge and understanding of relevant legal, regulatory and privacy requirements.
- Strong project management experience within an IT centric organization.
- Experience with containerization in support of a multi-cloud strategy to prevent vendor lock and leverage best platforms for the business.
- Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to develop and communicate a vision that inspires and motivates staff and aligns with the IT and business strategy.
- Experience delivering presentations to senior-level executives and technical audiences and balances the need for strategic long-term perspective and future vision with the need to produce short-term results.
- Works cooperatively with others to achieve common goals and contribute to the effectiveness of the team; sacrifices personal needs to achieve greater gains for the team.
