We at Harris CPAs are in the midst of building a powerful local CPA and Consulting Firm serving local and regional clients from the Rocky Mountains. We are currently seeking an Audit Manager. This position can be filled in any of our office locations.
The primary responsibilities of this position include:
Ability to plan, execute and report on audit, review and compilation engagements.
Clear understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, Generally Accepted Auditing Standards, Governmental Auditing Standards and other related technical requirements.
Develops areas of technical expertise to become a resource to the firm.
Manage and maintain multiple client relationships, engagements and special projects.
Manage and perform engagements on budget and on time.
Effectively supervise, train and mentor seniors and staff.
Network and participate in business development activities for the firm.
Prepare monthly client billings for the engagements in which you lead. Responsible for realization on assigned clients and can effectively explain variances
Additional responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree required; Master’s degree in Accounting related field preferred.
CPA certification is required.
5 years of public accounting experience.
Excellent interpersonal, analytical, research and audit project management skills.
Ability to effectively communicate and develop strong relationships with clients, business partners and co-workers.
Proficient computer ability relative to administrative programs, spreadsheets, tax preparation software, trial balance software, time entry, word processing and internet research.
Availability: Immediately
Salary: Depends on Experience
Travel: Limited out of town travel, consistent local travel to client’s office
