Job Summary:
Counselors and Social Workers provide professional level individual and group counseling services to adults in Inpatient, Partial Hospitalization, and Intensive Outpatient treatment programs.
Responsibilities:
- Provide individual, group, and family counseling services.
- Facilitate psychoeducational groups specific to alcohol and drug abuse.
- Conduct psychosocial assessment and establish a treatment plan with new clients.
- Update client records ensuring documentation is accurate, complete, and timely.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Ability to work in an office environment including extended periods of working on a computer.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to communicate fluently and clearly in English.
Education and Licensure Requirements:
- Master’s degree in social work or counseling required.
- State licensure in social work or counseling preferred.
