- Strong accounting knowledge, including an understanding of financial concepts and principles
- Proficiency in using tax preparation and accounting software such as Drake Tax, Quickbooks or similar programs
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to effectively communicate complex tax concepts to clients
- Attention to detail and accuracy in preparing tax returns
- Proficient 10-key typing skills for data entry purposes
- Strong mathematical skills for calculating deductions, credits, and exemptions accurately
