Keep salvage dock clean and organized by unloading and loading salvage trailers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Unload and load trailer with pallets, milk & egg crates, cardboard & plastic, load bars, and other salvage materials
- Drive and operated heavy industrial equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks
- Bail cardboard and plastic
- Sort salvage dock material and place in proper area
- Complete any additional responsibilities assigned by the Transportation and/or Fleet Maintenance Supervisor.
- Cross training required.
- Follow guidelines and procedures pertaining to housekeeping and sanitation.
- Follow company's attendance policy by coming to work on time and when scheduled.
- Follow company's safety policies and procedures.

- Education/Experience:High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Language Ability:Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
- Math Ability:Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
