As a Compensation Manager, you will be a key player in the design, development, and implementation of compensation strategies that align with the company’s growth objectives. You will work closely with HR, Finance, and leadership teams to ensure competitive, equitable, and scalable compensation practices. In this role, you will leverage Workday to manage compensation processes, ensuring seamless integration with HR functions and enabling data-driven decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
Compensation Strategy Development: Partner with leadership to develop and refine compensation programs that align with the company's growth plans, ensuring competitive positioning in the market.
Workday System Utilization: Leverage Workday to manage compensation workflows, including salary increases, bonus programs, and equity adjustments. Ensure the accuracy of compensation data and optimize Workday functionality to improve efficiency.
Market Research & Benchmarking: Conduct regular compensation benchmarking and market analysis to ensure pay structures remain competitive and attractive to new hires and current employees. Utilize Workday to integrate market data and compensation reports.
Job Evaluation & Classification: Collaborate with HR and department leaders to evaluate job roles, determine appropriate salary ranges, and establish job families and pay grades. Use Workday’s job evaluation tools to streamline this process.
Incentive Program Design: Assist in designing short-term and long-term incentive programs, including bonuses, stock options, or other rewards aligned with business performance and talent goals.
Compensation Communication: Ensure clear communication of compensation philosophy and policies to managers and employees. Support the development of manager training on compensation best practices.
Compliance: Ensure all compensation programs adhere to federal, state, and local regulations, including FLSA, Equal Pay Act, and pay transparency laws. Utilize Workday to maintain accurate records for compliance and audits.
Budget Collaboration: Work closely with Finance to align compensation budgets with business needs, ensuring that compensation spending remains within limits while supporting business growth. Use Workday for compensation planning and tracking.
Data Analysis & Reporting: Use compensation data to provide insights and recommendations to senior leadership on trends, potential risks, and opportunities for improvement. Leverage Workday’s reporting and analytics capabilities to drive data-driven insights.
Employee Support: Serve as a subject matter expert for HR business partners and employees on compensation matters, including pay equity and promotions. Use Workday to address compensation inquiries and provide support.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
• 5 years of experience in compensation, HR, or related field, preferably in a high-growth or dynamic business environment.
• Hands-on experience with Workday Compensation Module or similar HRIS, including data management, reporting, and workflow optimization.
• Expertise in compensation analysis, salary surveys, and market benchmarking.
• Strong knowledge of federal and state regulations related to compensation (e.g., FLSA, Equal Pay Act).
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make sound recommendations.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and Workday.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) designation is a plus.
Preferred Experience:
• Experience in a rapidly growing or scaling company, especially in the professional services industry..
• Familiarity with international compensation structures.
• Advanced use of Workday Compensation or similar HRIS for data analysis and process management.

Salary: $75,000 - $95,000 per year
