What are the responsibilities and job description for the Billing Coordinator position at Harrison & Held?
We are looking for a Billing coordinator to join our growing team. Billing coordinators are equipped with knowledge of billing procedures and great attention to detail. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and communication skills to interact with both our internal and external clients.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Creating invoices, credit memos, update accounting records, customer information, and sending payment reminders.
- Working directly with attorneys to provide billing assistance.
- Managing account balances and resolving inconsistencies.
- Assisting the accounting department with the preparation of financial reports.
- Updating accounting records with issued invoices, processed payments, new balances, and customer contact information.
Required Skills and Competencies:
- Previous experience as a billing clerk or in a similar role required
- Knowledge of accounting software such as Timeslips / TimeSolv / Quickbooks preferred
- Working knowledge of accounting standards and relevant legal regulations
- Strong communication, organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Highly detail oriented
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
