1. Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
2. Experience working with preschool aged children.
3. Strong organizational and communication skills.
4. Must have the ability to supervise.
5. Temperament and personality traits suited for work with young children and parents.

7. Comfortable in a Christian environment.
Must be able to lift and carry 30 pounds, walk, sit on floor, climb, crouch, stoop, stand, kneel, bend, push and pull.
Job Responsibilities for Teachers
1. Develop and execute weekly lesson plans based on our curriculum to help children develop physically, socially, mentally, emotionally and spiritually.
2. Set-up and maintain the classroom physical space with interest areas that allow students to explore and discover.
3. Provide small group as well as large group activities.
4. Observe in an informal as well as formal setting to be able to evaluate the student.
5. Must use positive techniques of guidance and set up clear and consistent classroom rules.
6. Encourage, inspire and nurture children in the love of Jesus.
7. Be comfortable interacting with parents on a regular basis.
8. Work with and get along with other staff members.
Work Schedule
All teachers will work from 8:45-1:45. Teachers will remain until all children in their classroom are gone unless a parent is more than 15 minutes late.
Job Responsibilities for Assistants
1. Always supervise and ensure the safety and well-being of the children.
2. Assist your teacher in any way possible.
3. Gather and prepare materials for your classroom.
4. Assist in the implementation of the lesson plans created by the teacher.
5. Keep the classroom clean, neat and organized.
6. Assume responsibility for the classroom in the absence of the teacher.
7. Encourage, inspire and nurture children in the love of Jesus.
8. Work with and get along with other staff members.
Work Schedule
All classroom assistants will work from 9:00-1:45. Assistants will remain until all children are gone unless a parent is more than 15 minutes late.
All staff must be CPR/First Aid certified biannually and attend a seminar/workshop annually. These will be arranged by the preschool.
Staff must attend staff meetings when scheduled and all workdays.
Staff must be familiar with and follow all preschool policies.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 per week
