EnXchange is seeking a Power Engineer to join our team!

JOB SUMMARY: The engineer will be responsible for modeling and specifying microgrids, electrical infrastructure, and controls for commercial – residential – mixed use developments . This will include designing and engineering distributed resources with IoT solutions.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design of electrical infrastructure and micro-grids for large multi-use developments, including controls, PLCs, and protective relays.
• Ability to design upgrades to Utility Distribution assets for interfacing with microgrids
• Development of operating parameters and one-line diagrams for support of SCADA and Operation Center monitoring.
• Project Management for all aspects of EPC, including economic justifications.
• Develops administrative and operational plans, project budgets, and implementation timelines in conjunction with the ENX management team.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in engineering, or a related field. Additional experience will include:

• At least five (5) years increasingly responsible experience in electrical power engineering.
• Preferred: Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.)
• Preferred: Knowledge of building energy systems, including: heating, ventilating, and air conditioning (HVAC); HVAC controls; refrigeration; lighting and lighting controls; building envelope; motors; domestic hot water; and process loads.
• Preferred: Knowledge of energy management practices
