Charlotte Hungerford Hospital is a 122-bed, general acute care community hospital located in Torrington, Connecticut, that serves as a regional health care resource for the 100,000 residents of Litchfield County and Northwest Connecticut.  CHH offers personalized attention from an expert team of caregivers and physicians that utilize advanced technology and clinical partnerships in a convenient, safe and comfortable patient environment.

The Hospital Courier will represent Hartford HealthCare by providing courier services within our Northwest Region.  Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Drive a Hartford HealthCare vehicle to make deliveries and pick-up materials to various off campus locations.
•  Maintain high level of confidentiality as the position will be responsible for transporting medical records, medical equipment, United States Postal Service (USPS) and other inter-office mail.
• Provide the highest level of customer care while demonstrating a friendly, cooperative and flexible attitude in a high-volume environment.

Qualifications

EDUCATION

High school graduate or equivalent.

Licenses:

Valid Connecticut Driver’s License with clean driving record

Salary : $30,800 - $39,000
