Job Summary
The Education Coordinator organizes and manages all administrative functions within supported programs and collaborates with internal and external audiences to ensure accurate, efficient and timely education information.
Job Responsibilities
- Provides administrative and clerical support to leadership/management.
- Coordinates and manages all administrative functions within supported programs.
- Tracks required paperwork.
- Requests rooms and AV equipment for the training classes.
- Manages distribution of training manuals for upcoming classes.
- Creates learning events for staff to register for courses/classes.
- Enters rosters of in-services and classes/courses to show compliance of attendance on staff’s transcripts.
- Creates schedules for university semesters.
- Coordinates and consults with clinical teams regarding educational offerings, tracking and data management of the learning management system.
- Assists with creation of education presentations/materials.
- Maintains a system for tracking educational offerings and accessing annual education requirements on request.
- Provides regular and adhoc reporting, including reports needed for compliance purposes.
- Complies with established processes, procedures and requirements to maintain standards and ensure consistency and decrease variability.
- Ensures required information is provided and flowed timely to complete the functions of orientation, regulatory training and delivery of all educational offerings.
- Provides coordination of supported programs and tracks required student paperwork.
- Participates in the performance improvement process known as H3W.
Qualifications
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Associate's Degree with administrative background is preferred
- Experience in a healthcare setting is preferred
- Strong knowledge of office procedures
- Proficient in computer software, including Microsoft Office and other necessary systems
- Demonstrates effective communication, organizational and time management skills
- Ability to prepare reports and maintain records
- Ability to review and analyze applications and supporting documentation
