Shift Details: 4-10 hour shifts and involves both primary call and back up call at least 2x/week - rotating weekend coverage.

Job Summary
The Endovascular Technician operates digital equipment and performs complex invasive procedures by positioning patients and preparing contrast Medias to perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures to assist the physician in diagnosis and treatment. Works with contrast media, chemotherapy agents, radiation agents, cements, resins and embolization agents. Reports to Team Leader.
Qualifications
• High school diploma.
• Graduation from an AMA accredited Radiography program.
• ARRT credentialed Radiology Technologist and CT Radiographer license.
• CIT or VI, Advanced certification by ARRT preferred.
• Maintains continuing education per unit guidelines.
• Ability to work independently since call is involved.
• Knowledgeable of a vast array of products including stents, coils, chemoembolization beads and glue.
• An understanding of neuro endovascular aneurysm coiling, acute stroke treatment, liver emboembolization, selective internal radiation therapy, Kyphoplasty and Vertobroplasty.
• Comprehensive knowledge of anatomy and physiology.
• BLS and ACLS required
• Cross coverage in the Cath Lab required
