Job Summary
Our registered clinical nurse leader’s work in collaborative environments withstrong interdisciplinary teams, focused on a patient centered care model in arichly diverse work space. Under the direction and general supervision of theNurse Manager, the clinical nurse leader utilizes evidence based practices inaccordance with the State Nurse Practice Act, policies and procedures of thehospital and as directed by the medical staff. The clinical nurse leader whothrough knowledge and ability uses the nursing process to develop a plan ofcare which includes standards of practice to meet the physical, emotionalspiritual, cultural and educational needs of the patient and family. Theclinical nurse leader is recognized as professional role model and clinicalexpert who delegates and supervises work appropriately reporting to NurseManager.

High 12 isone of the largest medical units in the system with 46 beds and 25 telemetrymonitors. They utilize a Clinical Nurse Leader to help support the team as aresource during off shift hours. Their patient population may encompass anygeneral medicine patient, and typically have multi system symptoms.

Qualifications

Education: BS degree required* OR 5 Years' RN Experience in lieu of BS degree.

• Exceptions to the educational requirement will be evaluated on an individual basis. For example, a strong candidate in the process of completing the educational requirement will be considered. Continued progress toward completion of the educational requirement within five years will be required.

Experience: Minimum one-year nursing experience.

Licensure, Certification, Registration

Current RN CT License.
