Job Title: Appliance Installer

Job Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Appliance Installer to join our team. The Appliance Installer will be responsible for delivering and installing a variety of appliances, including refrigerators, stoves, dishwashers, washers, dryers, and more. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver and install appliances at customer homes in a timely and professional manner.
• Ensure proper installation and operation of appliances, including connecting water, gas, and electrical lines as needed.
• Test appliances to verify proper functionality and address any issues or concerns promptly.
• Provide exceptional customer service throughout the installation process, including answering questions and addressing customer inquiries or concerns.
• Safely transport appliances to customer locations using company vehicles or designated delivery vehicles.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and ensure the well-being of oneself and others.
• Complete service and installation paperwork accurately and promptly, including obtaining customer signatures as needed including digital paperwork for proper tracking.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of delivery vehicles, tools, and equipment.
• Collaborate with other team members and departments as needed to ensure efficient and effective delivery and installation operations.
• Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge of appliance installation techniques and products.
• Communicate proper use and care of appliances to customers.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in appliance installation or a related field preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with hand and power tools.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects and perform physical tasks as needed.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Job Particulars

Full-time averaging 42.5 hours annually

Candidate should be able to lift 70lbs

Candidate must have a valid driver’s license and be able to pass a drug and background screen

Candidates with light plumbing, electrical and carpentry experience preferred, but willing to train motivated applicants.
