Family Nurse Practitioner

Job Overview:

NOTE: PAY RANGE IS REQUIRED TO BE LISTED BY INDEED BUT COULD VARY DEPENDING ON YEARS OF EXPERIENCE.

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Family Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team. As a Family Nurse Practitioner, you will provide comprehensive primary care to patients of all ages, from infants to the elderly. You will work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care and improve patient outcomes.

Duties:

- Perform physical examinations and health assessments.

- 4.5 days a week, (Mon-Thurs 9-6, Fri 8-12 or occasionally 8-5, occasional Saturday 9-12), on-call rotation.

- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses

- Order and interpret diagnostic tests

- Develop and implement patient care plans

- Prescribe medications and other treatments

- Provide counseling on health promotion and disease prevention

- Educate patients and their families on managing their health conditions

- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records

Requirements:

- Valid state licensure as a Nurse Practitioner

- Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner by an accredited certifying body (preferred)

- Proven experience working as a Family Nurse Practitioner (preferred)

- Strong knowledge of primary care principles and practices

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team

Pay: $95,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
