Description
A Café Barista brews and serves coffee and tea beverages. This position serves customers over the counter or served in the café. They serve with integrity, honesty, and knowledge that promotes Harvest’s culture, values, and mission.
Requirements
- Ensure that customers are satisfied with their drink orders.
- Brew coffee and tea, and fill containers with requested beverages.
- Maintain established standards for customer service.
- Restock kitchen supplies, rotate food, and stamp the time and date on food in coolers.
- Monitor beverage preparation methods, portion sizes, and presentation are executed in an acceptable manner.
- Maintain beverage and equipment inventories, and keep inventory records.
- Take orders from customers according to requests.
- Coordinate assignments to ensure beverages are prepared in an economical and prompt manner.
- Accept payments, and make changes or write charge slips as necessary.
- Perform cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, and washing dishes, to keep equipment and facilities sanitary.
- Replenish serving stations.
- Clean brewing preparation equipment, work areas, and counters or tables to keep equipment and facilities sanitary.
- Physical requirements with or without accommodation include the ability to lift up to 50 lbs consistently, repetitive hand and foot motions, prolonged standing, walking, kneeling, bending, stooping, climbing, crawling, squatting, and reaching.

- Must be 18 years old or older to apply.
Salary Range: $15.50 - $18.00 per hour.
