Dishwasher

Harvest Homes is looking for a full-time dedicated Dishwasher to join our community!

Position Overview:
The Dishwasher is responsible for cleaning dinnerware, flatware, cups and saucers, glassware, and other dishes using the commercial dishwasher and is responsible for the hand cleaning of all pots, pans, cooking utensils, etc. It is also the responsibility of the dishwasher to sweep/mop floors and clean the assigned areas of the kitchen. The dishwasher also sets the dining room tables before meals, serves beverages and meals as needed, and cleans the tables after meals

Shift: Monday-Friday from 7 AM to 3 PM

Pay: $16.00 to $17.00

Responsibilities:

• Wash dishes using the commercial dishwasher.
• Wash pots and pans and utensils.
• Clean sinks and deck areas.
• Make coffee and tea, serve beverages and meals, as needed.
• Set tables.
• Bus tables.
• Clean dining room.
• Check and log the water temperature.
• Fill and wipe clean all salt and pepper shakers, creamers, and sugar bowls after dinner and as needed.
• Clean out baskets on tables at each meal.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Genuine concern for and ability to work with the elderly.
• Knowledge of the requirements for providing nutrition standards to the elderly.
• Knowledge of and ability to conform to:
• State/federal food service and sanitation regulations.
• Safe operation of kitchen appliances.
• Special diets including: low sodium, diabetic, vegetarian, gluten free, and special diet textures and liquid viscosities.
• Must be able to utilize standard precaution knowledge and infection control measures where required.
• Must be willing and able to obtain a Food Handler’s card.
• Stand constantly, walk short distances frequently.
• Sit infrequently.
• Lift: ≤10 pounds (constantly), ≤25 pounds (frequently), ≥50 pounds (occasionally), ≥75 pounds (rarely).
