Motion Designer/Editor

Title: Motion Designer/Editor/ Cinematic Animator 4

Location: Remote

Duration – 2 months.( possible to extend to 6/30/25)

Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Motion Designer/Editor with advanced animation abilities to join our team. As a Motion Designer/Editor, you will be instrumental in creating visually captivating motion graphics, animations and video that enhance our brand's visual storytelling. Your expertise in animating UI elements and problem-solving skills will be crucial in delivering seamless user experiences.

Job Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the creative team to understand project goals and requirements.

Create storyboards from existing scripts.

Create/model/illustrate visual assets

Animate in After Effects and Cinema 4D using advanced animation techniques to add life and fluidity to static designs.

Seek out and acquire appropriate footage and music from content providers.

Edit in Premiere Pro, iterating based on client feedback.

Edit and mix audio.

Stay up-to-date with design trends, animation techniques, and emerging technologies.

Work closely with design and development teams to integrate motion graphics seamlessly.

Ensure brand consistency and adhere to style guidelines across projects.

Candidate Requirements

Years of Experience Required: 8-10 overall years of experience in the field.

Degrees or certifications required: Associate's degree in design and/or certificate in graphic design required. Bachelor's degree in design or related field preferred

Portfolio MUST be submitted with resume – the team does a lot of simulated UI scenarios, so if they've done click throughs animated click throughs through UI that would be great.

Top 3 Hard Skills Required Years of Experience

Minimum 8 years experience with audio/video production

Minimum 8 years experience with motion animation

Minimum 8 years experience with design programs ex) After Effects, Premiere Pro, Figma, Cinema 4D

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Motion Designer/Editor or Animator with a strong portfolio.

Advanced skills in Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, Figma.

Advanced skills in Maxon Cinema 4D/Redshift

Associates or bachelor's degree in Animation, Motion Graphics, or a related field preferred.

Solid understanding of design principles, typography, and composition.

Solid understanding of emerging AI capabilities.

Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and work quickly within short timelines.

Strong problem-solving abilities and creative thinking to overcome technical challenges.

Effective communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams.
