What are the responsibilities and job description for the General Sales Manager position at Haselwood Auto Group?
The General Sales Managers ensures that the dealership meets it new and used car and truck unit sales quotas and its gross objectives on a daily, monthly, and yearly basis. They will ensure that the units sold produce sufficient gross to aid the dealership in reaching its profit objective on a monthly and yearly basis. They will accomplish these objectives through planning, organizing, coordinating, and measuring the activities of the New and Used vehicle Sales Departments.
They conduct sales meetings, provide new and on-going training, coaching and mentoring and ensure that sales specialists are working their Daily Work Plan to obtain optimum results. They ensure standards are maintained for displaying, rotating, merchandising, and maintaining new and used cars, ensure that every prospect is thanked personally by a sales manager. Provide enthusiastic leadership to shape employees attitude and build morale. Work with Customer Relations Manager to resolve any customer complaints for the sales department. Ensure CSI standards are maintained at or above region average. These positions require 8 or more years of sales management or equivalent education/experience.
