SUMMARY We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Sports Information Manager to join our athletics department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of sports information and communications, promoting our athletic programs, and highlighting the achievements of our student-athletes.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Develop and implement a comprehensive sports information strategy.
- Manage all athletic communications, including press releases, game recaps, newsletters and social media content.
- Maintain and update the athletic school website.
- Coordinate and oversee media coverage for athletic events and ensure accurate and timely reporting of results.
- Compile and distribute statistical data for all sports teams.
- Create promotional materials, including game programs, schedules, and posters.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for media inquiries related to athletics.
- Collaborate with coaches, athletic directors, and other school staff to support the promotion of athletic programs.
- Photography and videography duties as assigned
- Ensure compliance with all school, conference, and league policies and guidelines.
- Maintain awards and honors tracking database
- Game day confirmations and administration duties as assigned
- Other departmental duties as assigned
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, sports management, journalism, communications or a related field.
- Experience in sports information, public relations, or a related role.
- Strong writing, editing, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in using social media platforms and content management systems.
- Experience in photography and videography
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Passion for sports and a commitment to promoting female athletics.
- Knowledge of NCAA and high school athletic regulations is a plus.
- Experience in graphic design and video editing.
- Familiarity with statistical software and tools used in sports information.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed for sporting events.
