What are the responsibilities and job description for the LADC/Co-occurring Counselor Residential position at Haven Chemical Health Systems, LLC?
Haven Chemical Health Systems is looking for a caring and passionate counselor to work in our 15-bed women's Residential program. The right candidate will be licensed as a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC) and will either have or will be working towards a license as a Mental Health Professional (LPCC, LICSW, LMFT, LP, etc.).
This role is full time, Tuesday-Saturday availability preferred
Responsibilities:
- Provide SUD treatment services that meet individual co-occurring client needs that follow each clients treatment plan
- Document all treatment activities and services in accordance with MN 245G standards and statues. Including treatment plans, comprehensive assessments, and discharge summaries
- Provide individual and group substance abuse and mental health therapy sessions
- Complete assessments of clients according to MN 245G standards and requirements
- Communicate with other treatment providers, placement agencies, and other referral sources
- Obtain and extend authorizations as needed for all third party payers
Qualifications:
- MN LADC or ADC-T
- Experience providing both substance abuse counseling and mental health therapy preferred
- Familiarity with 245(G) requirements
- Ability to work independently and with a clinical team
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Dual licensed
- Co-occurring program experience
