Position Title: Advanced Practice Registered Nurse
Overview: The APRN will manage selected medical problems, initiate, monitor or alter treatment plans and other activities for Hospice/Palliative care patients of the Haven network as defined within the framework of an approved protocol practicing under the direction of the Medical Director or Associate Medical Director. This position will serve in a consulting capacity to hospice clinical staff and others on issues of palliative management of symptoms and routine medical care. They also will participate in medical coverage rotation, weekends and evenings.

You Have:
- Current Florida APRN License required
- 3-5 years of experience required; experience in palliative care related area preferred. ANCC Board certification in palliative care nursing is preferred.
- Previous nursing experience preferred in oncology, hospice, palliative care, geriatrics, or home health care. Experience working with interdisciplinary team desired.
- Ability to work non-judgmentally with persons of varied cultural, religious and socioeconomic backgrounds and lifestyles.

Location: Lake City
The Lake City Care Center, opened in January 2007 in Lake City. This 16-room facility serves patients and families from six counties in the Suwannee Valley area. The care center is located at 6037 W US Highway 90, Lake City. Lake City is surrounded by the Sante Fe, Suwannee and Ichetucknee rivers and numerous springs, the sheer beauty of the landscape inspires families to grow and thrive while the flourishing economic environment attracts a robust healthcare climate, plenty of shopping and top notch education systems from primary to post secondary, creating the ideal balance.
