The Quality Manager will support and manage the quality function across various functions. Working on cross functional teams, the quality manager will bring quality subject matter expertise to product design, documentation, and validation. This individual will interface with product management, industrial design, design engineering, and production engineering to deliver a constant flow of innovative products that revolutionize the way people enjoy beverages and food everywhere. This role also works closely with customers to deliver a high-level quality business to business relationships. This person’s passion for working with various brands, products, and regions will support the new product development team to deliver an amazing array of products on challenging timelines.

What You Will Bring To The Organization

  • Represent product safety, compliance, and quality during new product development;
  • Own product standards and translating into product specifications;
  • Create and maintain test protocols for products globally;
  • Review prototypes from technical perspective;
  • Lead review of complaints and trends, and drive improvement;
  • Review changes to product designs;
  • Manage product quality issues with cross-functional team;
  • Maintain quality documents and records per established procedures;
  • This position reports to the Sr. Quality Manager.


Skills And Experience We Would Like You To Have

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S) from four-year college or university
  • 5 years of experience in leadership and management
  • 5 years of experience in product safety, compliance and/or quality
  • Ability to prepare the company for significant growth, by implementing best practices in product safety, compliance and quality, and being a champion of change.
  • Well connected with peers within the industry
  • Experience with consumer products, including children’s products
  • Ability to Knowledge of materials and Color, Material, Finish related to consumer hard goods including plastics, stainless steel, glass and/or ceramics desired
  • Self-motivated with an ability to prioritize tasks; must have time-management, organizational, problem-prevention and problem-solving skills
  • Skilled in workflow management, coordination of teams, strong facilitation skills that balance detailed requirements of design, regulation, and mass production to meet company objectives for consumer products
  • Excellent technical, written, and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively work with individuals and groups at all levels within the organization
  • Successful track record supporting a constant flow of projects with aggressive timelines
  • Ability to leverage virtual teams spread across the globe
  • Experience working directly with quality engineers and factories desired
  • Work accurately with close attention to detail
  • Adapt to changing business needs and deadlines
  • Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 10% of the time


Salary Range: $84,711.88- $129,480.00

The base pay range for this position is for a successful candidate within the state listed. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on multiple factors, such as job-related knowledge, skills, qualifications, and experience. tms is a total rewards company, which includes rewards beyond base salary. At tms, full-time employees are eligible for an annual bonus, based on company and individual results.
