Cash Receipts Clerk

Position Summary:

The Cash Receipts Clerk (CRC) is responsible for all actions related to client associations cash receipts and accounts receivable activities including but not limited to collect and post daily payments, process daily client associations deposit, post lockbox and ACH payments, generate monthly reports, and assist with

AR inquiries. The accuracy and timeliness of the Clerk's actions, teamwork and a positive cooperative attitude in the conduct of the Clerk's job are of the highest importance.

Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Collects and process cash, cashier's checks, personal checks, money order, traveler's checks, and billpayer checks received from client association owners
• Post and balance all owners payments including lockbox, ACH, and online payments.
• Post and process payments received from Escrow closings and Attorneys
• Prepare and submits daily deposits to the bank including cash and personal checks
• Perform AR Window Duty to receive payments from owners
• Maintain and review owners Surepay Information in Solomon
• Transfers accounts receivable data to the general ledger
• Monitor Change Box and Safety Deposit boxes on the 6th and 7th floors
• Generate and distribute mid month and end of the month accounts receivable reports.
• Gather and input chargeback data.
• Assist others including but not limited to owners, management executives, and accounting staffs

Education and/or Experience:

• 2 or more years of related experience
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Cash Handling experience preferred

Computer and Software Skills:

• Knowledge in the use of PC applications which includes, Microsoft Office, Google Mail, and Chrome.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
