Position: Accountant
Reports to: Accounting Supervisor - FS
Position Summary: Deliver the Hawaiiana Experience to Clients, Property Managers, and Vendors through accurate, timely, and efficient accounting and extraordinary customer care.
Position Duties:
Executing and overseeing the processes of detailed Accounting/Accounts Receivable needs for multiple clients while maintaining a pleasant and professional experience with an awareness for the business needs of each individual client while meeting deadlines.
Advanced accounting knowledge
Prior multi-client accounting context
Customer service
Multi-tasking skills
Preparing accurate and timely monthly financial statements
Day-to-day processing and auditing of accounting transactions
Maintaining accounting records in the administration of financial activities
Financial record keeping procedures
Interpreting and applying auditors’ instructions and management’s policies
Performing complex special projects
Position Requirements: College degree with emphasis in accounting, business, finance, or related field, and/or equivalent experience is highly preferred.
