Accountable for:

Quality Control and Inspections:

• Monitor and evaluate production processes to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
• Perform regular inspections of raw materials, in- process products, and finished goods.
• Identify and document non- conformities or deviations from quality standards.
• Recommend corrective actions and follow-up to ensure resolution of quality issues.

Documentation and Record Keeping:

• Maintain detailed records of inspections, tests, and quality audits.
• Prepare reports on quality performance and non-conformities.

Testing and Analysis:

• Conduct tests and analyses of food products, including microbiological, chemical and sensory evaluations.
• Ensure testing equipment is calibrated and properly maintained.

Regulatory Compliance:

• Stay updated on food safety regulations and industry standards.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (FDA, USDA, HACCP, FSMA)
• Assist with regulatory audits and inspections.
