Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students' academic and emotional needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) for students
- Provide counseling and support services to students, including individual and group therapy sessions
- Monitor students' progress and make recommendations for interventions or accommodations
- Assist in the implementation of behavioral management strategies and crisis intervention techniques
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and develop intervention plans
- Provide consultation and support to teachers regarding classroom management strategies and instructional techniques
- Stay up-to-date on current research and best practices in the field of school psychology

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with students, parents, and colleagues
- Ability to conduct comprehensive assessments and interpret assessment results
- Knowledge of special education laws and regulations
- Proficiency in using assessment tools and technology for data collection and analysis
- Excellent problem-solving skills to address students' academic, social, and emotional needs
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Note: This position requires a degree in School Psychology or a related field. State licensure or certification as a School Psychologist may be required.
