Wage/Hour Status: Non-Exempt
Pay Grade: PP04, 197 days
Primary Purpose:
Maintain accurate attendance records for the campus.
Qualifications:
Education/Certification:
High school diploma or equivalent
Special Knowledge/Skills:
Ability to use software to develop spreadsheets and databases, and do work processing
Proficient in keyboarding, 10-key numerical data entry and file maintenance
Effective organization, clear communication skills and interpersonal skills – both oral and written
Ability to meet established deadlines
Major Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Verify and ensure attendance is accurate for all students
2. Interact with students, parents and staff to ensure absences are documented correctly
3. Create and maintain student attendance folders
4. Coordinate posting of attendance and attendance documentation by teachers
5. Communicate with students, parents and personnel about attendance issues
6. Provide backup support for campus PEIMS clerk
7. Generate campus reports as requested by administrators, teachers, subs and other campus staff
8. Train and supervise student aides and parent volunteers
9. Elementary: serve as campus receptionist
10. Greet visitors, answer phones and questions while maintaining a professional and friendly attitude

12. Perform other duties as assigned
13. Follow district safety protocols and emergency procedures.

Tools/Equipment Used: Multi-line phone system; standard office equipment including personal computer and peripherals
Posture: Prolonged sitting; occasional bending/stooping, pushing/pulling, and twisting
Motion: Repetitive hand motions; frequent keyboarding and use of mouse; occasional reaching
Lifting: Occasional light lifting and carrying (less than 15 pounds)
Environment: May work prolonged or irregular hours
Mental Demands: Work with frequent interruptions; maintain emotional control under stress
