Your new role:
The Chief of Staff to the Managing Director of Enterprise Solutions requires wearing many hats. This role involves leveraging your strategy and project management background to help the Enterprise team facilitate process improvement, address major strategic challenges, and represent leadership when they are unavailable. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated self-starter capable of providing strategic thought leadership and leading projects with limited guidance. You should have a high level of attention to detail and be able to direct a team of senior leaders to develop and execute strategies based on high-level goals.
Your communication skills are polished and top-notch: whether it’s distilling information into slides, writing memos, getting in front of an audience, or 1-on-1 with a senior leader. You relish the opportunity to have an impact on both strategic and tactical initiatives. You are a systems thinker, making sure past lessons inform future outcomes, and trying to help a high-powered enterprise leadership team see around corners ahead.
In this role you’ll need to be proactive, detail-oriented and able to adapt to a highly evolving political environment. You’ll need to create processes where they are needed and help break down silos between teams within a newly formed department. You’ll partner to build the trust of leaders within the team, and stakeholders across the company.
You will be responsible for:
- Be the right-hand person, trusted advisor, and strategic partner for the Managing Director (MD) of the Enterprise Business, including representing their interests and positions in various forums.
- Act as the trusted delegate of the MD, ensuring smooth departmental operations whether they are present, and provide leadership and direction within the team as needed.
- Identify opportunities to improve departmental operations and develop and drive strategic initiatives.
- Build strong partnerships with administrative and operations team members, coordinating and supporting leadership.
- Manage communication pipelines, partnering with stakeholders and leadership across the company to promote departmental strategy and outcomes.
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to provide strategic thought leadership, identify opportunities for improvement, and develop strategic initiatives.
- Project Management: Strong background in managing projects, directing teams, and ensuring successful execution of strategies.
- Exceptional ability to distill information into slides, write memos, present to audiences, and engage in 1-on-1 discussions with senior leaders.
- Capability to act as a trusted advisor and delegate for the MD, providing leadership and direction within the team.
- Experience in facilitating process improvement and creating processes where needed.
- Ability to apply past lessons to future outcomes and help the leadership team anticipate future challenges.
- Proactive and detail-oriented, able to adapt to a highly evolving political environment.
- Strong partnership-building skills with administrative and operations members, as well as stakeholders across the company.
- Ability to build trust with leaders within the team and stakeholders across the company.
What you will have
- 15 years experience in project management, process engineer, management consulting, or something similar
- Can corral both global and regional initiatives and priorities with a strong bias for action
- Experience with leading team strategy, goal setting, culture, and assessing the needs of a team.
- Some travel required and able to work across time zones (London and the Americas).
- Fluency in Spanish preferred but not required
- Demonstrated market and industry sector knowledge and expertise.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- High level business credibility.

Salary : $170,000 - $180,000
