Job Posting for Payroll Clerk at Haystack Consultants
Seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Clerk to join a successful and established company in south Fresno. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in payroll processing and solid QuickBooks skills. This role requires good organizational skills, and a commitment to accuracy and confidentiality.
The company has been in business for over 30 years. In additional to a competitive salary, they offer a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental and vision insurance. A retirement plan, vacation time, and holiday pay are also in place.
Responsibilities:
- Process payroll for employees accurately and timely
- Calculate wages, deductions and withholdings
- Prepare reports for management as needed
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll questions
- Update payroll records by entering changes in exemptions, insurance coverage, savings deductions, and job title and department/division transfers
- Maintain accurate records of employee attendance, time off, and benefits
Skills:
- Proficiency in QuickBooks software
- Prior experience in payroll processing
- Knowledge of payroll principles, regulations, and best practices
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Bilingual English/Spanish applicants are preferred
