The Role: Total Rewards Manager
Location: San Francisco, CA
About This Role:
We are looking for a dynamic, empathetic, and detail-oriented individual to join our exciting People team.
The Manager, Total Rewards will design and administer our U.S. based benefits and compensation plans. We are a startup in hyper-growth mode. You will take the lead in developing our Job Framework Architecture and ensure we are competitive, innovative and compliant.
What You’ll Do:
- Manage all U.S. compensation programs, including competitive pay practices, annual merit increases, corporate bonus programs and equity compensation
- Manage and administer health programs including negotiating with insurance carriers and vendors, managing the broker and vendor relationships, overseeing annual renewals and open enrollment, developing cost analysis and annual recommendations for benefit plans and premiums, and developing processes and controls.
- Benefit and 401(k) administration
- Compliance reporting related to compensation and benefits programs, including Worker's Compensation. 401k, ACA, audits, and EEO-1 reporting.
- Develop and manage market pricing efforts and be responsible for salary survey administration.
- Develop, maintain, and report on applicable HR analytics.

- Bachelor’s degree in an Human Resources, Business or a related field
- 5 years experience in Total Rewards (Compensation, Benefits, Wellness)
- Sound knowledge of the Regulatory and Legislative imperatives and impacts related to Total Rewards programs (FLSA, Sec 125, ERISA, HIPAA, etc.)
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and implement process improvements and resolve complex matters
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong organizational/prioritization skills with an ability to multi-task to manage multiple projects while maintaining a close attention to detail
- Possess proven operational, interpersonal, project management, vendor management, and leadership skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
