The Financial Analyst is a client-facing consulting role that will include a mix of business development and technical project delivery. The position will require significant teamwork and coordination to produce financial models, prepare client reports, identify patterns and trends from various information sources, and make recommendations. The Financial Analyst Consultant is a supporting team member. His/her work will provide exposure to a range of water industry related financial systems and consulting services. Project types may include:
Ideal candidates will have 3 or more years of experience and hold Technical Bachelor’s (BS) and a Business Master’s Degree (MS/MEng/MBA or similar) in relevant engineering and/or financial consulting fields. Technical degree and engineering experience is preferred but is not required. Good communication skills, experience in working with clients, strong subject knowledge, humility, and thoughtfulness are key for success. Expertise with spreadsheet and database models, preferably Microsoft Excel and Access, is essential. Communicating effectively in writing and the ability to produce clear and concise written reports will also be necessary.
