As a GIS Analyst at Hazen, you will have the opportunity to work across our practice areas (e.g. wastewater, water, stormwater, and conveyance) and geographic regions to deliver geospatial analyses and decision support tools developed in GIS. Hazen leverages desktop and web GIS and as an Esri silver partner is actively helping to shape the application of GIS in the architecture, engineering, and construction space.

In this position, you will:

  • Edit and maintain geospatial data
  • Perform geospatial analyses
  • Create web applications (Field Maps and Survey123) for field data collection and progress tracking
  • Publish data and create web applications within Hazen’s ArcGIS Online and Enterprise Portal environments

At Hazen, you will have the chance to improve technical skills in GIS while also interacting directly with clients. Limited travel may be required based on client needs.

Requirements

  • 0 to 3 years of experience
  • Bachelor or Associate degree in Geography, Environmental Sciences, Engineering, or directly related discipline
  • Working knowledge of ArcGIS Pro and Model Builder

Preferred Experience

  • Master’s degree in Geography, Environmental Sciences, Engineering, or directly related discipline
  • Exposure or desire to work with Python, specifically ArcPy and/or ArcGIS API
  • Exposure to web GIS in ArcGIS Online or Enterprise Portal
