Key Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance, safety, and environmental activities with mechanical and electrical technicians, aligning with steelmaking production and plant-wide objectives.
• Guide technicians to achieve safety, delay, preventive, and predictive maintenance goals and targets.
• Apply technical knowledge and skills in maintaining industrial machinery.
• Manage administrative tasks, including scheduling crews, completing reports, conducting safety meetings, and compiling essential documentation.
• Foster continuous improvement and standardization of maintenance programs and procedures.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned.
  
  

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, with 3 to 5 years of supervisory experience as a maintenance supervisor in a manufacturing facility (preferred) or over 10 years of supervisory experience in a similar role.
• Required industrial/manufacturing mechanical and electrical maintenance expertise.
• Familiarity with AC/DC motor control, drive packages, and PLCs.
• Strong troubleshooting and team-building abilities.
• Experience with hydraulics, water systems, print reading, and machine shop math.
• Proficiency in using computer-based maintenance systems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Office, and PowerPoint.
• Capability to lift over 25 pounds occasionally and perform physical activities such as climbing, kneeling, bending, and walking.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications
