What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Warranty and Returns position at HB Global LLC?
SUMMARY: This warranty and returns admin is responsible for communicating with vendors and all employees. This person will be responsible for processing warranty claims online. This person will also be responsible for setting up new and unused returns. They will practice LEAN to ensure timely and accurate results when processing returns.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Works in Davisware/Global Edge (in-house platform) to receive and enter data
- Seeks and maintains vendor specific forms for completion from vendor websites
- Supervise all information, update database, and prepare required filling documents
- Work with employees to solve return and warranty issues
- Processes all warranty paperwork, ensuring proper documentation
- Reconciles non-credited warranty receivables
- Schedules returns pick up and deliveries to job sites in a company vehicle when necessary
- Enters Part numbers and prices for all service orders
- Basic knowledge of application for parts and install Preferred:
- HVAC
- Plumbing
- Develops and assists in implementing standardized warranty claim processes
- Personal computer skills
- Microsoft office

- Ability and willingness to learn new software
- Good clerical skills
- Ability to create, analyze, and interpret internal reports

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS AND CERTIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma, completion of G.E.D.
- Equivalent technical school or work experience
- Forklift training preferred
- Criminal background check required for hire
- Valid Pennsylvania Drivers License and Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record required
- English language skill
