HB Staffing is offering its support to a Huntington Beach-based electronics company with their need to hire an RF Technician.
Pay Rate: $23/hr , negotiable with experience
Schedule: Monday- Friday; 7:00am-3:30pm, full time.
Job Description:
Perform tasks associated with repair and testing of RF devices, airborne and ground-based, such as amplifiers, filters, power dividers, oscillators, radar modulators, attenuators, switches, diplexers, etc.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Evaluate RF Devices to determine failures
- Repair and test RF devices; Amplifiers, mixers, switches, power dividers, oscillators, etc. including strip-line and through-hole technologies
Education & Experience
- AA, Electronics, or trade school equivalent, minimum.
- Three years, minimum, of experience with repair of power supplies.
Knowledge and Skill Requirements
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision on multiple projects
- Understanding of RF and microwave components (work with frequencies up to 26 GHz)
- Understanding of electrical and electronic principles including fundamental digital logic techniques
- Good working knowledge of, and ability to operate a wide variety of electronic test equipment such as a digital multimeter, oscilloscope, function generator, Spectrum Analyzer, Network Analyzer.
- Requires ability to interpret oral and written instructions and must possess good interpersonal and communication skills
- Operation of wire bonding equipment is highly desired.
- Good solder skills are required.
- Certification to IPC A-610 and IPC J-STD-001 is highly desired.
- Ability to repair through-hole and surface-mount technologies.
