SUMMARY:

Operations Specialists work directly with the Operations and Project Manager and under the Chief Operating Officer in responsibility and authority. Operations Specialists are responsible for performing and/or assisting in business management, marketing, compliance, human resources, and information & technology duties.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prepare, consolidate and/or analyze periodic reports for management; identify, research, monitor and report operational trends that affect business performance.
  • Assist in the completions of various duties and tasks as required.
  • Assist with property management duties; monitor key distribution, security codes, etc.
  • Assist with marketing and advertising initiatives, including seminars, presentations, firm conferences, etc.
  • Assist with the implementation of compliance policies and procedures.
  • Assist Human Resource initiatives for employees and interns.
  • Identify and present to management, business opportunities/improvements that positively affect customer satisfaction, employee efficiency and financial results.
  • Display a high degree of technical and professional competence.
  • Display strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational skills as well as the ability to make independent decisions and manage projects.
  • Assist with special studies/research requiring financial and operations analysis as requested by the Principals or Chief Operating Officer.
  • Maintain excellent communication with Principals and HBKS team members to ensure work is performed accurately and efficiently.
  • Act with integrity, competence, diligence, respect, and in an ethical manner with the public, clients, prospective clients, HBKS and HBKS team members.
  • Place the interests of clients above their own personal interests.
  • Use reasonable care and exercise independent professional judgement when making recommendations.
  • Practice in a professional and ethical manner that will reflect credit on themselves and HBKS.
  • Maintain and improve their professional competence.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of all clients and the firm business.
  • Work overtime as needed.
  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to the firm.
  • Perform activities in a manner consistent with the applicable HBKS Wealth Advisor compliance, operations, and human resource manuals.
  • Maintain the firm name in the public through speaking engagements, community involvement and participation in business, civic and professional activities.
