The Job
The Project Manager I will manage client implementation projects, internal process changes, and provide support to Project Manager II on large-scale complex new client implementations. Project Manager I responsibilities include delivering projects on time within scope. Responsibilities
- Lead teams of internal resources and third-party vendors to successfully implement solutions and high-quality products
- Develop project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
- Create SOWs and Schedules
- Represent the client needs and priorities during the product development life cycle and conduct internal product reviews to ensure the delivery of high-quality products
- Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders throughout the implementation and onboarding phase
- Measure progress and provide status updates to stakeholders at all organizational levels
- Transition new client relationships and products to the Client Services team
- Develop test plans and document results
- Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs
- Report and escalate risks and issues to management as needed
- Perform risk management to minimize project risks
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation including meeting minutes and work assignment tickets in JIRA
- Minimal travel required
Qualifications
- Experience managing cross-functional teams and developers on projects in a fast-paced environment with firm deadlines
- Strong educational background
- Resourceful and strong problem-solving skills
- Proven experience as a project manager in the information technology sector, banking &/or healthcare verticals
- Strong scheduling, issue and risk management background
- Experience with technology projects and agile methodologies including creating schedules and roadmaps
- Experience gathering requirements, interpreting and prioritizing client needs
- In-depth issue and risk management experience
- Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
- Experience creating status reports and communicating status to stakeholders at all organizational levels
